The male House Finch has gained back it's vibrant color. Most males have red. Others have yellow, orange, or a combination of orange and yellow/golden hues. They have thick bills which are perfect for cracking large seed, such as sunflower seeds. I love their song which can sometimes be a high pitched whistle.
