The Rhino is so endangered and at the mercy of human beings for its survival.  Their horn is sought after by those who believe it has medicinal value but there is no proof that it actually does have medicinal value.  The Rhino is killed for only its horn.  A very sad state of affairs.

I'm very much a kid that has not grown up when it comes to wonderland toys.  I still buy and collect toys of different variety.  The Rabbit Pillow and Dinosaur Pillow are new from Land of Nod.  All cotton and washable. 

I'm always on the look out for whimsical, colorful, or vintage items to adorn my office.  This is a Kelly Green wooden rocking bird from West Elm.  A green glass mushroom (vintage) by Viking Glass company which was a gift from a very young pre-teen artist in Indiana.

The Lesser Goldfinch is a beautiful yellow and black bird perching on the branches of shrubs and trees in the woodland, chaparral, wetlands and desert oasis.


I'm a bird watcher.  I watch their behavior.  It takes many hours and patience.  I love this hobby.
